I am posting this for a friend who is new to spooky2 and has been working with spooky for about two months now…
She has a paper sculpture that has been overtaken by beetles for years now…drilling holes in the sculpture. I suggested she capture a couple of the bugs and put it in between some paper tape and run a kill program on them…here is what she did plus pictures!
I collected some live beetles and put them in the Spooky Remote on kill (see photo below) for settings.
I’ve been running the program on and off for 2 weeks.
Parasites General Comprehensive (CAFL)
Spooky Converge Sweep (CUST)
Meal Mite (HC)
Meal Mite (XTRA)
We’ve had the sculpture for 10 years and typically, twice a year the beetles come out – usually we get about 10 – 15 at a time and normally they are not very big.
After running the program on Spooky we’ve probably gotten at least 100 beetles and larger ones as well as small. The holes on the sculpture are where the beetles come out.
