Yes my wife had her left breast and lymph nodes removed in 1979. At that time the five year mortality rate after breast surgery and radiation she had was 50%.
She has always had lymph fluid build up in her left arm swelling it to a painful stage until she had a monthly massage to remove the lymph fluid.
