An elderly neighbour of ours had radiation on her eyelid 2.5 years ago for skin cancer. They accidentally damaged her cornea. She has poor vision now and has not been able to open her eye since then without excruciating pain. She would wear patches. Her eye has been itchy and she’s been getting recurrent infections because she’s always scratching at it.
We started the Cornea Dystrophy peptide last Tuesday, using remote, and by Thursday she could no longer feel pain. I went to see how she was doing this afternoon and she opened her eye while we were standing on the porch, and she said there was minor irritation but no pain. It is still quite red around her eye, but nowhere near as bad as it was.
She is beyond thrilled and praying for it to heal in its entirety. I am so excited for her and beyond grateful!
