Update. I went ahead and used the quad coils and they do work. I have scoliosis and it affects my right leg when I walk.
I used the single coils on the areas that hurt and noticed an improvement almost immediately. Since the pain spreads from my hip to my knee, I placed the quad coils from my hip down to my knee and the pain from my hip area went away and am now treating the pain from my thigh down to my knee. I give each section 1 to 2 hours treatments and it has given me incremental relief.
