I would like to give a progress report on tissue regeneration and wound healing protocols. My wife had a complete hysterectomy to remove the Endometrial cancer in her uterus. The incision was over 15 CM long (the doctor used tape to close the incision) and after 4 weeks a section opened up about 2.5 cm long – 2.5 cm deep. The doctor said this is somewhat common and to pack the wound with Iodine strips – keep it clean and dry changing dressings twice a day. The treatment plan was as long as it does not get infected eventually her body would heal itself from the inside out. After 2 weeks of no improvement I started cold laser treatment with Tissue regeneration and wound healing protocols. In 3 days ( 1 treatment per day) we have seen a 50% reduction in the size and depth of the open wound and will update the forum when the wound is completely closed. Anyone with a similar experience that can suggest additional treatments it would be appreciated.
