Millie’s Laminitis Journey: From Struggling to Running Again

By | August 31, 2026

🐴✨ MILLIE’S LAMINITIS JOURNEY — 7 AUGUST → 24 AUGUST 2026 ✨🐴

I wanted to share Millie’s progress because having video footage throughout her journey has allowed me to document her movement changes day by day.

Millie is a miniature pony with a veterinary diagnosis of laminitis. She had been experiencing problems for approximately two months with little improvement, with all appropriate efforts made by her owner before I was asked to help her and began documenting her progress.

📅 7 AUGUST — DAY 1

This is where the story begins.

Millie was visibly in pain, uncomfortable on her feet, hobbling and shifting her weight.

Spooky2 scalar was set up overnight, with a GenX Pro running the Horse Laminitis Peptide Preset, with the first video recording her movement at this stage.

📅 8 AUGUST — DAY 2

Already, there was a difference.

Millie was still uncomfortable, but was shifting less on her feet.

I returned home with my scalar boxes, 45 minutes away, and placed a hoof shaving in the remote of one XM generator and continued running the Horse Laminitis Peptide Preset, while my friend also placed a hoof shaving in a remote for Detox Maintenance an hour away. 👻💫

📅 11 AUGUST — DAY 5

Millie had started moving around outside more.

This was another noticeable step forward in her movement and behaviour.

📅 14 AUGUST — DAY 8

Millie was moving around more easily.

Compared with the first video, the difference was becoming increasingly obvious.

📅 19 AUGUST — DAY 13

By this point Millie was moving around much more freely and happily.

She was also being walked much more freely, showing a very noticeable improvement compared with where she had started.

📅 24 AUGUST — DAY 18 ❤️🐴

And this is the video that made me incredibly happy…

ONE VERY HAPPY MILLIE PONY RUNNING AROUND VERY QUICKLY! 🥰

From hobbling in pain and constantly shifting her weight on 7 August…

to running around happily and quickly on 24 August.

This is an individual case record documenting Millie’s progress and my observations during this period. Her normal veterinary care, diet and management also continued.

🐴❤️ Go Millie!

Thank you, Spooky2. 💫
