I decided to post more about our AuHD journey to wellness here, since I am not going to fully call this an official “Success Story” yet. We have only begun, …about 10 days ago.
We began with our family member going through just a basic light detox, and a lung congestion program, as he was recovering from an URI. He began to complain of dizziness and headache the next day… so wound down the detox. Because he has to be out of his residence for obligations M-F, until summer time-off, we are not running full Terrain until then.
What we have begun is the daytime set of programs from 7am-9pm. ( See photo 1)
Then a different set at night for insomnia, deep sleep, general balance, melatonin and Schuman rez.
He has responded remarkably well to this, as emotional dysregulation is a huge part of his challenge. Last night, my laptop auto updated its operating system, kicking everything off at 3 a.m.
He awoke this morning more irritable, and clearly less amenable than previous days. I explained what happened to his programs overnight. As I dropped him off in town this morning… ( he has not been able to get through a driving test) he turned to me and gave me the first spontaneous hug that I can remember.
For you parents of neurodivergent children with a similar diagnosis…. you will know how monumental this was. ![]()
He turned to me as he was walking away and said, ” please put my programs back on, as soon as you get home”. I have no words![]()

We are taking tiny, baby steps.. carefully selecting and monitoring what helps, what overwhelms, and what he is just not ready for. We have not worked with any other aspects yet regarding the brain, or programs specifically labeled autism, basic or peptides.
Others may choose to dive in at the deep end, but we are proceeding with caution, and working with his own bodily autonomy. He is verbal, and communicates how he feels well. He has never eaten gluten in his life, and mostly organic… which may have had some impact on how receptive his energy is to the programs.
The second photo is just random information that I looked into, because of the research into links between clostridium difficile bacterium and autism… then received this protocol you see in the photo. We will not run this until he has finished Terrain at the summer.
I will continue to post our progress, in the hopes that it might encourage others with autism in their family and friends.
Caveat: I am in no way endorsing our approach or chosen programs as the ones that others should choose, but rather seeking to inspire and give hope that there may be a way forward for our ASD people.
