My experience is that it can be helpful. Not as much as with physical issues though. I went through bladder cancer last year and with it came a whole set of treatments, chemo, and major surgery. I was so exhausted and not in a good place mentally. I got a scalar after I got done with the chemo, and it helped me get my life back, including after surgery, which in turn helped my mental state. I am an Emotion Code Practitioner and Master Energy Healer and do work on myself regularly with that, which I think is the best for the problems you are asking about. But I was in a place energetically where my abilities there were shut down and I had to rely on the scalar for a while. It worked for me, but I don’t know if it’s because it helped my body heal which in turn helped me feel better because it was definitely situational depression that was my problem.
I second that detox is a must too.
